Picturesque and charming, this delightful restaurant is a throwback to a 60’s style European street-side café complete with its own lion-headed fountain. Adjoining the lagoon pool, the Café de la Fonte is an idyllic nook to feast on fruit fresh from the Hacienda’s own garden bounty and to explore local delicacies and delectable ‘World Breakfasts’ as sunlight streams in past large potted palms throwing leafy shadows on the art-laden walls.

The live Rafa kitchen sits pretty amidst a lily pond, as seductive aromas waft away from its wood-fired pizza oven and Teppanyaki grill. Open on three sides, the kitchen exudes cozy warmth in the evenings. The culinary adventures continue at the marvellous Rafa Terrace – a painstakingly recreated Greek-style open-air courtyard centred around a 100-year-old olive tree. The fabulous Mediterranean-inspired menu has everything from Mezze platters to mouth-watering chargrilled offerings, served with sides of still warm, freshly baked breads. With maximalist new-Gothic accents the Bohemian bar and lounge is the Hacienda’s own watering hole. The speakeasy-style house bar is well-endowed with the best of spirits with wines sourced from all over the world to sparkling champagnes and exalted single malts. The bartender, a mixologist par excellence, concocts quintessential cocktails both classic and exotic. The first-rate humidor in the lounge is rich with exceptional cigars.
